WHAT & HOW
The Boot Camp is an intensive 1 day workshop,
facilitated by Momentum Texas Inc (MTI), and
is designed to help you start a business or
grow a newly established business. It will bring
together experienced entrepreneurs, business
experts, and financing specialists with a goal
of conveying how you can succeed in starting
and growing your business.
WHO
A team of 12, including 7 Bankers from Bank
of Texas, Capital One Bank, Citi Bank, Comerica,
Guaranty Bank, Regions Bank, and ViewPoint Bank
as well as individuals from Accion Texas, the
City of Dallas Economic Development Department,
the Hispanic Bankers Association, The Plan Fund,
and the Urban Financial Services Coalition,
have designed a Boot Camp you need to attend.
The Boot Camp is facilitated by Momentum Texas
Inc (MTI).
Four registered participants who attend the
full boot camp will be eligible for a drawing
to win cash awards
of $500 each, provided by Capital One Bank.
The drawing will be held at the concluding reception,
must be present to win. Reception scheduled
to be held at Brooklyn’s located at 1701 Lamar
immediately following the boot camp..
WHEN & WHERE
The Southern Dallas
Entrepreneurship Boot Camp will be held on Saturday
September 19, 2009 at Southside
located at 1409 Lamar St. Free parking will
be available at a police department lot across
the street from Southside. The Boot Camp will
start with registration at 8 :30a.m. and a opening
session at 9:00a.m it includes lunch will conclude
at 3:00 p.m. with an awards reception to follow.
FREE PARKING
will be available in (Lot A) next to the Sala
restaurant located at the northeast corner of
Lamar and Bellview across the street from the
Dalas Police Headquarters.
HOW MUCH
The estimated value of the workshop is $250.
The registration price for you is $25 designed
to cover direct costs such as food, refreshments
and printing of a workbook containing boot camp
presentations, contact information, web sites,
and seminal articles, all registrants will be
eligible for a free follow-on consulting session
with MTI staff. Payment by money order or check
must be received no later than September 16,
2009. The workshop is limited to the first 100
registrants so don’t procrastinate or you will
be left out.
